good karma sale

The Good Karma Movement was started by Kim Krans of The Wild Unknown when she decided to “raise the vibration” of their annual post-Thanksgiving sale. The movement invites artists, designers, brands, and businesses to donate a percentage of sales from Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday to charity.

I think this year especially, calls us to commit to something higher, something better, something outside of ourselves. While there are a few organizations that I donate to each year and it gives me great pleasure to do so, the collective energy behind this movement is something very special.

In addition to offering a coupon code this weekend for 15% off SHOP wide, I pledge to donate 10% of sales to my favorite organization – the Sierra Club.

The Sierra Club was founded in 1892 by conservationist John Muir. It has grown to be the largest grassroots environmental organization with more than two million members, protecting 240 million acres of wilderness. They helped to pass the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts, two of the United States' first and most influential modern environmental laws and they are at the helm of the movement toward clean energy.

Sierra Club mission statement:

To explore, enjoy, and protect the wild places of the earth;

To practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources;

To educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.

To receive 15% off your Untold Imprint order Friday Nov 25th through Monday Nov 28th, enter coupon code GOODKARMA at checkout.

Thank you for supporting my handmade small business this holiday season and thank you for your donation to the Sierra Club.
